My approach is to meet people where they are. Find out where they want to go and help them create the healthy habits, fitness routines, and wellness regimes that they need.
I became a fitness instructor the same way most people do. I was taking classes that I loved and was invited to start teaching. How I ended up in the classes was a little different. I was an injured athlete rehabbing in water classes (aqua fit). it was a revelation to me to do exercise for fun and fitness instead of performance.
Exploring fitness at mid-life has introduced me to many new ideas (and revisiting some old ones) about movement, increasing muscle mass, simplifying workout routines, meal planning, and most importantly How To Fit It All In.
